A while back the Ancient Goddess of Decay had dissapeared, rumors that she had cheated death, to purposely slight another god even in her final moments. But truly, even though she had been a bloodthirsty tyrant, Saphila longed to be complete. Out of jealousy for seeing what her friend Veeshka had, for a desire to feel love to the goddess she favored the most (Goddess of Vengeance) or simply because she was incomplete.
Saphila forfeit her life, for a chance to be reborn, this time complete, with the ability to finally love. She instructed her minions on what to do, and as soon as she settled all her matters she set off.
And so in the mortal realm, near the portals between mortals and gods, she lay for the final time. Her body rapidly decayed and created vegetation around the whole area, only remaining her bones of gigantic structure.
As the florest bloomed, in the ribs a bush emerged, one that the late goddess's minions surrounded for days on end.
Until finally, a new life had emerged, her name being Mikra the new reformed goddess.
4 years had passed since that day, when the goddess of the Dead Annalise finally came to Mikra's realm for answers, only to find the old goddess was long gone and all that remained was a young toddler being raised by her minions.
And so Annalise quickly adopted Mikra and raised her with the love and care she needed, making her grow up into a soft hearted woman, with a softness for nature. Eager but tenderly caring for her subject of upmost affection, a woman named Edelweiss, with whom she builds her own family with as well.
